Leesburg, VA – January 19, 2023 – The new year has brought new board leadership and staff at the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.

Paul Siker, retired CEO of Advanced Recruiting Trends, a talent acquisition consulting firm, steps into the role of Chair of the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors. “I’ve had a front-row seat from which I’ve witnessed the incredible impact the Community Foundation makes in supporting critical nonprofits throughout our area,” said Siker. “I’m honored to take on the role of Chair and look forward to working with staff, stakeholders, and fellow board members to help the Community Foundation of Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties expand its capacity to do great things for our entire community.”

Sheila Escobedo Yusufi, Campus and Community Relations Coordinator for the Northern Virginia Community College – Loudoun Campus, is the newest addition to the Foundation’s Board of Directors.  She recently relocated to Ashburn, VA from Washington, D.C., and also serves as Marketing Account Manager for Loud & Clear Marketing.

In January, Matthew Bender joined the Community Foundation staff as the new Director of Community Engagement. He has spent the last thirteen years in West Virginia as an educator and public-school administrator with a background in media production and will work to keep the community up to date with the Foundation’s numerous undertakings.
