The Community Foundation welcomes Allison Metzger, our newest team member and Director of Community Engagement.

As Director of Community Engagement, Allison supports and guides tactical design for a newly emerging Loudoun-based community education campaign addressing workforce housing in Loudoun County. Her focus is to increase awareness of need and share personalized stories of housing limitations in our community as well as to build stakeholder coalitions.

After nearly 20 years in the marketing and public relations fields in hospitality and healthcare industries, Allison chose to change careers and pursue her entrepreneurial drive as a real estate broker. After working with big and small real estate brokerages, she opened Green Lawn Realty, named after her hometown, Greenlawn, NY. For eight years, she served on the Board of Directors for Loudoun Habitat for Humanity honing her passion to help families find affordable housing, connecting buyers with Loudoun’s  affordable dwelling units (ADUs), and educating them on taking advantage of local home-buying programs. Allison has a B.A. in Public Communication from American University and lives in Leesburg, VA, with her husband, daughter, and cats.  We welcome her to our team!
