On Tuesday, May 7, 92 local nonprofit organizations raised more than $327,000 during Loudoun and Northern Fauquier’s annual day of giving, Give Choose.  Throughout the day, donors visited givechoose.org and chose among charities meeting community needs ranging from human services to education, culture and nature.  Several participating organizations also set fundraising goals accompanied by matching donations or challenge gifts from their donors.  In addition, the Community Foundation provided a prize pool of $35,000, sponsored by local businesses.  Prizes were awarded to organizations throughout the day for raising the most dollars, having the most donors, or through random drawings.  Grand Prizes of $1,000 were awarded to the following:

Since it’s inception in 2014, Give Choose has raised more than $1.1 million for nonprofits serving Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.
