Workforce Housing Now: Because Housing is Foundational

The Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties is proud to announce the launch of a new community-awareness campaign highlighting the need for workforce housing in our community: Workforce Housing Now.

Workforce Housing Now is a public awareness campaign amplifying Loudoun’s voice for workforce housing as the missing ingredient to our community’s prosperity.

The campaign began with a group of concerned leaders from our community who agreed that to work in Loudoun should also enable someone to live in Loudoun—because housing is foundational. Yet, locally employed teachers, first responders, hospitality workers, and young professionals cannot find housing here at home.

From government leaders, to businesses and nonprofits, to you and your neighbors, we hope to work together and elevate the conversation, find solutions, and ensure that our community and its homes are some of the best in which to grow up, and grow old. Everyone deserves a place to call home.
