The Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties granted $6,000 to five organizations at the recommendation of the recent winners of the 2024 Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Awards.

The Loudoun Chamber announced the 2024 winners on Thursday, February 22nd at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Community Leadership Awards.  Each year, winners of the Community Leadership Awards have the opportunity to select a nonprofit organization to receive a $1,000 grant, provided by the Community Foundation.

This year’s winners selected the following organizations to receive a grant in their honor:

$1,000 grant to Loudoun Hunger Relief, selected by Alice Frazier, BTC – The Community’s Bank, winner of the Executive Leader category;

$1,000 grant to Boulder Crest Foundation, selected by Josh Goldberg, Boulder Crest Foundation, winner of the Nonprofit Executive category;

$1,000 grant to Loudoun First Responders Foundation, selected by Bruce Rahmani, Falcon Heating & Air Conditioning, winner of the DEIA Leader category;

$1,000 grant to Tree of Life in support of SimpleBe, selected by KC Tregoning, Loudoun County Department of Economic Development, winner of the Young Professionals category;

$1,000 grant to Loudoun Hunger Relief, selected by Merritt Companies, winner of the Large Business category;

$1,000 grant to Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls, selected by You’ve Got Maids of Northern Virginia, winner of the Small Business category.

“DEIA should become a part of our social fabric and not merely a numerical achievement,” said Bruce Rahmani, President, Falcon Heating and Air Conditioning. “We need to make our community a better place for our current and future generations.”
