On Thursday, April 21, numerous supporters came out to celebrate one year of the Community Foundation’s Workforce Housing Now Campaign and the acceptance of a Commending Resolution from Delegate Suhas Subramanyam and the Virginia House of Delegates.
“It’s easy to appreciate that affordable workforce housing is not a simple problem that is going to be solved with simple solutions,” said Chair of the Community Foundation Board of Directors, Paul Siker. “Addressing this issue requires all of us to come together and to keep the interests of all stakeholders in mind, not just our own.”
Led by the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties, Workforce Housing Now (workforcehousingnow.org) is a community service effort amplifying Loudoun’s voice for workforce housing as the missing ingredient to our community’s prosperity.
